Tribulus terrestris

Caltrops Root

Tribulus acts as an aphrodisiac in males. Ayurveda has always recognized this herb for its ability to increase testosterone levels in men. The herb is not a hormone supplement that causes the body to produce testosterone in excessive quantities. On the other hand, Tribulus increases the amount of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) produced by the body's pituitary gland. LH stimulates the testes to secrete testosterone. Thus by promoting production of the body's own hormones, it works only within the body's natural limits to help men increase and sexual energy and drive. Certain studies in different parts of Europe have also affirmed the fact that Tribulus can effectively address partial erectile dysfunction and lack of libido. Further studies also proved that increase in testosterone levels were noticed after just 5 days use of this herb.
