Garcinia Cambogia is an abstract obtained from the dehydrated fruitlet of Garcinia Cambogia tree. These trees are found in South India and also in some parts of South Asia. It is considered as an aid to weight loss. The researchers have found that Garcinia Cambogia contains Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA), a form of citric acid which markets itself as weight loss supplement. Some experts accept that HCA prevents citrate lyase which makes it possible for the unused carbohydrates to turn into fat. The natural HCA increases brain serotonin levels, a neurotransmitter involved in appetite control, which reduces emotional food cravings decreases the urge to consume calories.
